This scholarship was created in honor of Maggie Baumann. Maggie was a congenital heart disease (CHD) warrior with a passion for healthcare education and patient advocacy. Throughout her life she helped support and create new opportunities for the CHD patients in her community including the first ACHD patient camp day at Camp Joy. Maggie’s compassionate, loyal, and tenacious spirit is deeply held amongst her family and friends. With the support of Congenital Heart Alliance of Cincinnati, Maggie’s legacy will continue through this scholarship by helping to fund higher education for CHD patients interested in the healthcare field.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be a current high school senior at the time of application.
- Must be planning to enroll in a post-secondary institution.
- Applicant’s must intend to pursue a major in a healthcare-related profession.
- Funds intended and used for qualified educational expenses pursuant to IRS regulations.
