CHAoC supports the PediPERform Learning Network (PLN), which focuses on the time a patient spends under the care of a perfusionist while on cardiopulmonary bypass during the surgical correction of a congenital defect. The mission of the PLN is to establish and maintain a congenital perfusion registry, and facilitate the use of databases to support quality assurance and improved processes within the entire congenital perfusion community.
